Maintenance for CVT system

A. Colar lubrication on the primary pulley

Reason:
If there are no lubrication, acceleration / acceleration is not smooth because of the movement on the primary sheave adapter does not work well

Service Point
First, lubricate the grease on the surface of the collar, then before the primary pulley mounted on a fixed, clean the excess fat on the outside of the oil seal to prevent slippage

B. The inside of the starter wheel gear, starter idle gear, the drive axle of the secondary sheave

Reason: Rotation is not smooth


(1) point lubrication

• Pulley primary shift


• Collar


Grease suggested: Shell Sunlight 3 ®

Shell Sunlight 3: is grease versatile and is suitable for lubricating roller and plain bearing

Resistance Temperature: 20 * C to 135 * C

Caution: Do not touch the surface of the pulley with grease.
             If pulley exposed to grease, clean with ALCOHOL


C. Lubrication Torque on Pulley secondary cam.

Reason:
If there is no grease or grease this section:
1. Acceleration is not soft
2. Climb the less powerful because the secondary pulley is not working properly
3. Pin guide and guide pin groove wear occurs

Service point:
- Lubricate with grease around the guide pin and the secondary pulley moves
- Get rid of excess grease on the outside of the secondary pulley, to avoid being grease does not touch the centrifugal clutch and the clutch housing

(2) Lubrication of the secondary pulley

• Pulley fixed secondary ①
• Secondary Pulley move ②
• Bearing / gap torque cam


Lubricants are recommended: 
Shell Dolium grease R ®

Caution: Do not touch the surface of the pulley with grease.
             If pulley exposed to grease, clean with ALCOHOL

(3) Cam Torque Lubrication

• The pin ①
• O-rings ②

• Shell Dolium R grease used on the guide pin on the secondary sheave.
• Grease is resistant to heat and resistant to leakage because it is sticky

Lubricants are recommended: Shell Dolium grease R ®

Caution: Do not touch the surface of the pulley with grease.
             If pulley exposed to grease, clean with ALCOHOL
